How We Started
Twelve years ago, we were the ones renting equipment for our own video production projects. We encountered the usual frustrations: gear that didn't work properly, rental companies that didn't understand production workflows, and a distinct lack of honest technical advice.
After one particularly disastrous shoot where rental equipment failed during a critical interview, we decided there had to be a better way. We started small, with a handful of quality microphones and cameras that we'd rent to fellow creators we knew personally.
The response surprised us. People weren't just looking for equipment - they wanted partners who actually understood what they were trying to accomplish and could recommend appropriate solutions. They valued reliability over the cheapest possible rate, and they appreciated straight talk about what they actually needed.
That insight shaped everything we've built since. We've grown our inventory substantially, added production services, and helped set up dozens of permanent studios. But the core approach hasn't changed: maintain equipment meticulously, give honest advice, and treat client projects with the same care we'd give our own.
